To keep pace with the ever changing advances in vehicle technology, it has been necessary for Halls Electrical to invest in the latest diagnostic equipment as well as gaining access to the specific Technical Information and up to date training for our technicians.
Even within the past ten years, there have been major advances in vehicle design and their associated electrical systems with more vehicles than ever using CAN-BUS, MOST & FLEXRAY communication systems to reduce wiring and allow for better integration of the electrical system. These advances also brings complexity and every vehicle manufacturer have their own way of doing things, this means that our technicians must be able to work on ANY make of vehicle whether it is a car, truck, boat, coach, crane or plant equipment etc.
To enable us to accomplish this type of ‘all makes’ repair service, our staff regularly receive training which consists of either visiting the manufacturer’s training facilities, receiving training from our suppliers such as Eberspacher, carrying out on-line assessments or undergoing in-house training schemes.
All of our fully skilled Electricians have successfully passed an apprenticeship and obtained the necessary City & Guilds, IMI or NVQ qualifications.
Our air-conditioning engineers have received extensive training to the latest F-gas regulations and are all qualified to work on vehicle air-conditioning /climate control systems.
Our Mains Electricians are fully trained to the BS7671 17th Edition requirements as well as being Part P registered and Approved Contractors for the NICEIC.The result of all this training with the investment in diagnostic equipment, coupled with highly skilled & motivated technicians, allows us to carry out in-depth vehicle diagnostics within the shortest possible time enabling the vehicle to be repaired and returned to the customer as quickly as possible.
This also enables us to undertake work to at least the same standard as main dealers without the customer incurring the high labour costs associated with them.
